1 · Before delivery
100% refundable. Cancel any time before we publish work to your domain or hand off credentials, and we'll refund the full amount paid — no questions, no fees on our side. PayPal and Square will reverse their own processing fees on most refunds; in the rare case they don't, we cover those too. Refund requests received before delivery are processed within 1 business day.
2 · After delivery — websites & client sites
Once a site is published to your domain (or to a staging URL we've handed off): the deliverable is considered delivered. If a portion of the agreed scope is incomplete or visibly broken, we will fix it at no cost. If the project cannot be brought to scope-complete for a reason on our side, we issue a pro-rated refund against the unfinished portion of the signed scope, capped at 50% of the project amount. Cosmetic preference changes ("I wanted the button blue, not green") aren't refundable but are usually free to fix — just email us.
3 · After delivery — AI products & automation
Once credentials, source, or a working agent have been handed off: the deliverable is considered delivered. If the agreed functional acceptance criteria are not met for a reason on our side, we either fix it at no cost or issue a pro-rated refund, capped at 50% of the project amount. Provider charges incurred while running your AI (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.) are pass-through and not refundable by us — that money already went to the provider. Where possible we'll help you recover provider credits directly with them.
4 · Disputes
If anything feels wrong, the fastest path is to email jmontano@jmautomated.com with your invoice reference and what you'd like resolved. We aim to reply within one business day and resolve within five. You retain every dispute right your payment processor offers: PayPal Buyer Protection (up to 180 days), Square dispute window (typically 120 days for cardholders), and any ACH return rights your bank gives you. Filing a dispute is your right; we ask only that you email us first so we have a chance to fix the issue directly — it's usually faster than the provider's process.
5 · Processing time
PayPal refunds typically post back to the original funding source in 1–3 business days for cards and 3–5 business days for bank-funded payments. Square refunds typically post back in 5–7 business days for card payments. ACH reversals can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank. Our internal response time on a refund request is 1 business day from your email; the rest is the processor.
6 · Governing law & contact
This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JM Automated Solutions LLC is organized. This policy supersedes any earlier informal statements about refunds. If you signed a separate written contract for a specific project, that contract controls where it conflicts with this page.
